My love for comedy began with listening to the Comedy Club on BBC Radio 4 Extra (then Radio 7) when I was 8. I discovered a wide range of comedy from John Finnemore's Cabin Pressure to The Now Show, and began to hear about a mysterious comedy festival held every summer in Edinburgh.
I got the chance to visit the Edinburgh Fringe in August 2015 after finishing my GCSEs and put my mum through as packed timetable of comedy. It then became my dream to work at the Festival. I had the opportunity to do this in August 2019, working as a Box Office Operator at The Pleasance theatre.
I have worked with Custard Comedy to promote and organise comedy events in Cambridgeshire. I am always looking for new opportunities to watch and get involved with comedy.
